His first novel was published in April 2004.

He studied to be a doctor in a relatively small city in India because that was what his parents wanted him to do.

But his real interest and passion was writing.

Hence he relocated to Bombay in 1982 and joined a hospital as a junior medical officer.

In 1986, he got his first full time job as a journalist, in the Indian Express.

Since then he continued in his adopted profession.

He entered the world of newspapers in September 1986 about four years after completing his medical degree from Gandhi Medical College in Bhopal.

He passed away in 2022 due to Corona.
